The most exciting season is here again – ‘fashion weeks’ how I love it when I was back in Malaysia… but now its a different arena and better models! Bristol fashion week 2012 will be held at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway from the 21st – 25th March. I have gotten my blogger’s pass and will be there for a few runway shows!

So lucky to be invited by JUICE magazine to the tasting of glenmorangie’s whiskey. And I brought along my dear friend Justin to the tasting which made the whole event even better! Glenmorangie is a famous distiller which makes very smooth single malt whiskey and one word to describe the whiskey is awesome! It is smooth and has the tangy orange, lime, and chocolate after smell once you swallow the whiskey down your throat.

The tasting session was held at Aristo which is recently renovated at KL’s most famous club – Zouk.

I was busy taking pictures of the newly renovated Aristo before the session started, enjoy browsing through the photos!

With the breathtaking view from the roof garden it is certainly a must visit place for happy hours! Look through the photos and you will definitely agree with me!

It is a household brand where its know for its quality and built. Citizen watches have been in the market since 28 May 1930. It is the leader in watch companies apart from Seiko, Casio. What citizen today stands out from the rest of the competitors today is that the company has launch a new type of powering mechanism that supplies battery to the watch which is Eco-Drive. The watch is powered by a small silicone solar powered cell which houses behind the watch’s dial. So it saves time to change batteries whenever or if ever it runs dry.

The whole event was to let the Media and the distributors of Citizen watches to have a first hand look on watches which are soon going to hit the shelves in Malaysia. In the first half of the morning the Media was invited to witness the new launching of several watches on display and the evening session was to let the dealers of Citizen watches to have the first hand look upclose at the watches.

It was held at The Gardens Hotel, The Gardens Ballroom. The media launch was hosted by local celebrity Will Quah. And the second session was hosted Xandra Ooi.

Last but not lease me with the watches on display =) Thanks to pictureworks for the opportunity to photograph the event.

It was a lavish party threw by HTC Malaysia to mark the new launch 3 phones which is about to hit the market. HTC is introducing 3 new phones to the market which is HTC Sensation , HTC Salsa , HTC ChaCha. Which are all targeting at youngster/young working adults this days. The party was held at Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall which was decorated extensively and exclusively to cater for this awesome party! The girls from X Top Model Search 2011 also made waves in the party as they appear as special / invited guests. Last but not lease the DJ for the night was DJ Bunga from Twilight Actiongirl which spin awesome tracks to end the night’s party!

When it comes to alcohol or the more common term ‘booze’ I am not really a fan of cognac or more commonly know as brandy… maybe its perhaps of the influence of beer and whiskey that is widely available. Anyway brandy is fermented from grapes and whiskey wheat and beer is from barley.

Hennessy as everyone knows is the creme de la creme of brandy drinkers as it tops of the rage of fine old french cognac and I would say Hennessy is the world leader in producing fine brandy. As Malaysia ranks the chart of no.10 is consuming alcohol which is according to beerbeer.org.

Back to the story, recently Hennessy Malaysia launched the Hennessy Paradis locally and the first batch to arrive in Malaysia was auctioned at the event which I photographically covered and each bottle comes with a staggering price tag of RM3000 I think? could not remember the exact amount but which I think is more then RM3k! And each bottle purchased is personally autographed by Gill Hennessy CEO of the Hennessy group which flew all the way from France to officiate the ceremony.

A section of Grand Palace Restaurant in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was transformed to a very lavish Black Tie Party.

The launching of the new Cognac was started off with a lavish dinner which they served lobsters, one to be named and many lavish dishes.

And the first batch of Hennessy Paradis for sale in Malaysia.

Each bottle is personally autograph by the CEO itself!
